About the Position

In the role of HVAC technician with us, you will have a stimulating job where you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of ventilation systems in a technically advanced and critical hospital environment where high demands are placed on indoor climate and patient safety. You will belong to a larger team of currently 23 engaged colleagues with various competencies who together are responsible for establishing safe operations with the help of a well-developed preventive maintenance program. Your main tasks will include:

• Perform planned maintenance, supervision, and care of ventilation and climate systems
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve operational disturbances in ventilation systems
• Ensure that ventilation systems meet applicable requirements regarding air quality, pressure conditions, and temperature
• Work with balancing, functional checks, and optimization of ventilation systems
• Participate in inspections, assessments, and follow-up of ventilation systems
• Collaborate with healthcare operations and other technical functions to minimize disturbances in ongoing care
• Report deviations and contribute improvement suggestions for energy efficiency
• Work in administrative systems for documentation, follow-up, and reporting

On-call duty may occur in the position.

About You

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, self-driven, and responsible. Furthermore, you are a meticulous and quality-conscious person who is solution-oriented. You work in a structured manner and have a good ability to collaborate – both with internal and external parties.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• At least five years of experience as an HVAC technician
• Technical education in ventilation, plumbing, or equivalent competence
• Very good knowledge of ventilation systems and indoor climate technology
• Good skills in troubleshooting and resolving ventilation-related issues
• Knowledge of control and regulation technology related to ventilation
• Experience in balancing, OVK-related work, and functional checks
• Basic understanding of adjacent technical systems such as heating, cooling, and electricity
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Experience working in a hospital environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulations within ventilation and occupational health
• Experience in energy efficiency and optimization of ventilation systems
